Relaxed, all tied and ready for Philly fans
We came to the park today, you couldn’t tell what happened last night. That’s the way we’ve been all year. If something doesn’t go our way, we forget about it. We came in relaxed today. We haven’t let anything get to us all year, we weren’t going to let that game get to us. We don’t let anything rattle us.
Now it’s 1-1 and now we go to Philly. We know there will be a hostile crowd, so we have to keep the same momentum as we had today. It was kind of cool to see Kobe there today by the batter’s box, an NBA champion wearing an L.A. hat like that, it got me pumped. The fans were great. They know how we can come back, they know the kind of club we are and how we’re always in the game.
Andre, what a great at-bat that was with the shadow and a tough lefty. Andre didn’t get a hit today but he helped the team win. Better than a hit. Pedro had us a bit off-balance, but we got him out of the game and got to their bullpen and won the game. Hat’s off the Pedro, he pitched an excellent game, we just got there at the end. We’ve been like that all year, we just keep on pushing to the end of the game.
Padilla was huge today. He kept it close so we could come back. And in that inning, we just grind it out. They made an error and we took advantage. ‘Dre had a great at-bat. That’s the thing about us. I struck out, ‘Dre picked me up. It’s been like that all year, the guy behind me or the guy ahead of me, we pick each other up. We’ve got a lot of fight in us. With ‘Dre, there’s always something special going to happen. Coming into the playoffs he wasn’t swinging that good, now he’s come alive. He’s a big reason why we are where we are.

The Dodgers make it exciting all the way to the end of the game. We have learned not to leave until the game is over. You are absolutely right…every game there is a different hero. Sometime it’s you, sometimes Andre, sometimes Casey, sometimes James. That’s what makes the Dodgers so special.
Good luck in Philly but wear those thermals.

Hey Matty,I’m 100% proud of you guys!You guys did well today.It was great in the 8th inning when ‘Dre walked and made up 2-1 ! 😀 I was SO Delighted because I knew we were going to win this. I had faith in you guys and I believed & I knew you guys can do it! Like you guys always do…You guys are always battling to what you guys really want. ‘Keeping your eyes’ on the prize.’ That’s what I like to see in you guys, and by doing this & keeping it up, you guys will get further and further… till’ then You never know what will happen! I get those goosebumps chills all over my body when I’m excited and I know something good will happen. Time to win a game tomorrow!! 😀

Glad you guys pick each other up… I know you all fought hard today for that one and Padilla was awesome!
On a more personal note, all you guys helped pick up my spirits today, as my mom had to be out of town for a cancer treatment, and the game helped me escape for the afternoon… so thank you muchly!

I’m sure you know that after today’s game you need to go out there and BRING IT in philly. There will be no remorse from the fans out there, so it’s up to you and the rest of the blue crew to shut them up with nothing but relentless atbats. Although you guys have been playing good ball, and you’re giving it everything you have, the phils have yet to see the full power of you and the rest of this Dodger team in action. While they may try to mitigate that power with, what seems like, their entire pitching staff every game, you need to go to philly and CRUSH them. This year the Dodgers are known for everyone chipping in to pick up everyone else, up and down the lineup a few guys come in and take care of business when it needs to be taken care of, but when EVERYONE comes out firing all cylinders, that’s when this team is truly unbeatable. It may not be next game, it may not be this series, but the whole world will soon see the true power of the crew. Whether it’s the phils, yanks or halos, they will rue the day they stepped in front of the Dodgers freight train. WAR DODGERS! WAR KEMP!
I’m looking forward to the games in Philly. I know you guys will show them what it takes to be a champion. As much as I enjoy a well pitched game, and yesterday was one from both sides. This season and this Dodger ball club has me yearning for runs. You guy’s are so exciting when your offense is in high gear. You fuel the not just each other but a magnitude of Dodger Faithful everywhere across the country, and worldwide. As you take the field and play these next three games in Philly, keep in your minds eye that millions of screaming, believers in blue are propelling you forward from afar. We are in the fight as well, we have the same goal as you, we believe we can be there to pick you guys up also, you are never alone, not even on the road, needing a push in late innings of a crucial situation. Dodger Pride is a powerful thing, when you continue to believe and continue to forge ahead, it can seem as if it is magical.

Great win yesterday!! WOW.. my friend and I were going nuts in the living room we NEEDED that win and of coarse you guys came through! SUCH an exciting way to tie up the series!
LA is sooooooo proud of our boys in blue! I rocked my bright blue Kemp, Dodgers t-shirt to the Angels/Sox game the night you guys won after Holliday dropped that ball and I WORE IT PROUDLY 🙂 They were showing the Dodger game there on the big screens during BP and I was proud to rep my team like always! Just like Kobe was definately proud to wear that hat and to support a fellow championship LA team!
My 3-year-old nephew got 2 birds last weekend and he named them Kemp and Manny all by himself, it was cute. Keep up the good work, best of luck in Philly, and bring a World Series parade to LA!! Your fans are behind you guys 1,000%!!!! GO DODGERS!

It’s very decent of you to give credit to Andre, we do love him, but there is a reason YOU are always in the lineup. You make it happen, too.
